Nominations for Awards of the University of Oklahoma - Norman Chapter of Sigma Xi

Members of Sigma Xi can make nominations for the following awards of the University of Oklahoma - Norman Chapter of Sigma Xi.  In February, please submit  to Dr. Donna Nelson at djnelson@ou.edu  a letter detailing why the person merits the award you have specified.  Awards will be announced in March.

1.  High School Science / Math Teacher Recognition Award
The high school science/math teacher should be a teacher at an Oklahoma high school.

2.  Award for Outstanding Service in Support of Research Scientists
The person should typically be one who would not qualify for membership in Sigma Xi, but who has helped scientists in Oklahoma carry out their research.

3.  Faculty Research Award
The person should be a tenured/tenure track faculty member at OU or one of its affiliates; the person should also be (or will become) a member of Sigma Xi.
