POSTDOCTORAL POSITION available to study the mechanism of signal transduction by the SLN1-YPD1-SSK1 phosphorelay system from Saccharomyces cerevisiae.  Molecular genetic, biochemical, and X-ray crystallographic approaches will be utilized to determine structure/function relationships that mediate this signaling pathway.  The laboratory is fully equipped for genetic, biochemical, and structural experimentation.

Candidates with a recent Ph.D. degree, a strong background in protein biochemistry and/or previous crystallographic experience will be considered.

Interested individuals should submit a CV, a short summary of research experience, and the names, email addresses, and telephone numbers of three references.
