RESEARCH ASSISTANT POSITION available to support laboratory members in the study of the mechanism of signal transduction by the SLN1-YPD1-SSK1 phosphorelay system from Saccharomyces cerevisiae.  The laboratory uses molecular genetic, biochemical, and X-ray crystallographic approaches to determine structure/function relationships that mediate this signaling pathway.  Although the position will be primarily research-oriented, the successful candidate will be in charge of general laboratory maintenance and management.

Candidates with a recent B.A., B.S., or M.S. degree, with training in protein biochemistry will be considered.

Interested individuals should submit a CV, a short summary of research experience, and the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of three references.
